Project Manager
Building & Construction
Location: Worcester
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 plus car, bonus & package
Are you interested in working for an independently owned and growing midlands contractor?
We're after a Project Manager like you, who enjoys taking the reins over a project and being able to focus on doing the do as opposed to paperwork and politics. This is very much a position where you'll have ownership over the delivery of a project and the ability to make your own decisions. The hiring company is an inclusive employer, who wants to empower you with all the tools you need to make decisions quickly for the benefit of the project and client. The first project you'll work on will be a £5m industrial unit in Worcester where you'll be site lead reporting into the operational management team.
The businesses you'll be joining are born out of some of the UK’s largest contractors' directors who want to grow their own business. They're an independently owned main contractor with a turnover of £50m. The projects you can expect to work on will range from £5m to £30m in value so this project starting will be on the smaller side. You'll have genuine opportunity for progression here, all of the management staff have been in the industry for over 30 years plus so have excellent pedigree for delivering successful construction projects. If you're successful in this role, you could expect to be a contracts manager in the next 2-3 years.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of working for a main contractor as a site manager or project manager.
2. Experience in schools, hospitals, industrial or a wide range of sectors; preferential steel frame building experience.
