We are pleased to be working with an excellent business based near Pontefract, Wakefield who are looking for an assistant management accountant to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent role that comes with progression for someone who is ambitious and looking to climb the ladder within finance. This is a hands-on role, where you will work together within the office and your duties will not be limited to management accounts duties.
Duties will include:
1. Assist and prepare the monthly management accounts for 2 companies within the group
2. Balance sheet reconciliations
3. Accruals, prepayments, and journals
4. Assist with budgets and forecasting
5. Review costings and margins
6. Support with sales ledger and purchase ledger
7. Support the office staff where needed
8. Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills:
1. Strong IT skills including Pivot tables/V-Look-ups
2. AAT Qualification or Part ACCA/CIMA is essential
3. Assisted with software implementation would be an advantage
