Credit Analyst – Financial Services | Commodities | Capital Markets

The Role:
As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of a diverse client base, including corporates, financial institutions, and state-owned enterprises. Your insights will help shape risk strategies and ensure sound credit decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of existing and potential clients & counterparties.
* Assess global macroeconomic factors and their impact on credit risk.
* Provide well-researched recommendations for credit facilities to senior leadership.
* Engage with clients on a domestic and international basis.
* Prepare detailed management reports and contribute to risk policy enhancements.
* Collaborate with internal teams to optimize risk management strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong expertise in corporate financial statement analysis (preferably from investment banking or brokerage).
* Ability to assess credit risk models and recovery potential in the event of default.
* Understanding of margin requirements for futures and options trading.
* Excellent report writing & presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
* Team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel & Word (Bloomberg experience is a plus).
* Experience with commodities sector clients is an advantage.
* Additional language skills are desirable.
