Assistant HR Business Partner
Location: Barry
Salary: £14.17 - £15.43 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, full-time
Duration: Temporary role for up to 12 months
Our client in Barry is looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join their team on a temporary basis.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous HR experience
* Administration skills
* Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office
* Data inputting
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Knowledge of HR operational practices and processes
* Excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities
* Support HR Business Partners in delivering high-quality HR support across the business.
* Participate in disciplinary, capability, and grievance procedures as appropriate.
* Assist managers with managing sickness absence cases, ensuring timely actions in line with organizational policies, and provide support and development.
* Support the organization of HR workshops to advise and guide managers on policy application.
* Promote effective employee relations, including supporting consultations and negotiations with trade unions.
* Assist in implementing employment legislation and organizational development initiatives.
* Support case administration for disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues, including preparing documentation and attending meetings.
* Ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
* Maintain effective communication and engagement with staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
* Support organizational development projects as needed.
* Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Implement environmental and equal opportunity policies.
* Comply with health and safety legislation and report safeguarding concerns promptly.
* Perform other duties as reasonably required by the Chief Officer.
