As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be working within the ERP & Integration (Salesforce DevOps Platform Team) to manage and develop the Salesforce platform, overseeing the Salesforce development and ensuring the integration, development, and maintenance of both new and existing features across both Projects and Product Teams. Within this position, you will be seen as a thought leader in the team providing guidance to internal team members and SI partners while acting as a SME facilitating design discovery seasons to understand unique business needs. In addition to team support, this position plays a crucial role in assisting the ERP & Integration Platform Lead in executing the strategic roadmap.
What you’ll be doing as a Salesforce Technical Lead
- Identify and proactively manage key risk areas.
- Manage security and data considerations.
- Lead the scope and evaluation of new requirements.
- Ensure that deliverables that are ready for deployment are fit for purpose, and meet the standards, quality targets and requirements.
- Own and produce strategies and roadmaps for the platform.
- Build out the salesforce function and establish best practices.
- Assist In production incidents or problems.
- Provide technical coaching to the team and lead technical discussions, guiding other developers.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of policy and process within the team to promote best practices and adoption of industry frameworks including Agile and DevOps.
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid.
Working Pattern: 36 Hours.

- Extensive experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Demonstrated development expertise including Java, Javascript, APEX, Visualforce, APIs, Integration and lightning framework.
- Experience in implementing, customising, optimising and troubleshooting Salesforce Field Service.
- Strong experience with unit, integration and performance testing in Salesforce.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions within Salesforce.
- Proficient in using Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI and Extensions.
