Job Purpose/Specification
Rapleys Charities Not for Profit team provides consultancy, valuation and agency advice to a wide range of charities but primarily to faith-based organisations as a specialism.
The team advises on properties and projects across the UK with support from our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Edinburgh, but the bulk of the work is centred on London and the South East of England. There will be the need to travel around the country.
The role presents an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, with exposure to a wide range of instructions. The main responsibilities will include:
* Drafting formal valuations for Charities in connection with audit and accounting procedures, including Red Book valuations;
* Providing specialist advice to clients on aspects of Charity property disposal within Designated Advisors Reports;
* Assisting the team with agency disposals;
* Support the Landlord and Tenancy function including placing new tenants and rent reviews;
* Drafting Assessments to advise clients on development opportunities.
* Producing detailed residual valuation models on Argus Developer would be an advantage;
* Developing and managing existing client relationships, including growing new areas of business;
* Assisting the team in achieving targets and growing the business line.
Person Specification
* MRICS qualified
* Ideally RICS Registered Valuer or Valuation Competency (APC) to Level 3
* Experience of providing residential development valuation advice
* Ideally good working knowledge of Argus Developer
* Good report writing and communication skills
* A high degree of IT literacy is essential
* Clean driving licence
