Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong administrative abilities. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of properties, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximising rental income.
Duties:
1. Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, HMO properties and tenant relations.
2. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
3. Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors.
4. Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants.
5. Screen and process rental applications.
6. Prepare lease agreements and enforce lease terms.
7. Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
8. Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions.
9. Perform regular financial analysis to maximise rental income and minimize expenses.
10. Stay up-to-date with local housing laws and regulations.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
6. Familiarity with fair housing laws and regulations.
7. Full UK Driving Licence is a must.
