Responsibilities:
• Offer companionship and conversation to foster a supportive and positive environment for clients.
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands.
• Help with personal care activities to support clients' independence and well-being.
• Encourage and support clients in physical activities and exercises tailored to their abilities.
• Remind clients to take their medication and assist with mobility around their home.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation when needed.
Requirements:
• While previous experience in caregiving is preferred, it is not required as full training will be provided.
• Possess a compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Communicate effectively and work well within a team setting.
• Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential.
• This role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, and we require Care Professionals to have access to reliable transport.
