This full-time role is based within an NHS inpatient service in Ipswich and offers highly negotiable rates for a committed Psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work full time (40 hours per week) for an initial period of 3 weeks. Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and managing the mental health of patients under your care. Location: Ipswich, Suffolk Position: Old Age Psychiatrist Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Duration: Immediate start until 29 October 2024 Pay: Competitive, to be discussed upon application Key Responsibilities: The postholder will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in a community setting, which includes managing functional and organic illnesses as well as conducting memory assessments and providing treatment.
