Building Safety Manager

The Role:
An exciting opportunity is available to work for one of London's largest Housing Associations, who are looking to appoint an additional Building Safety Manager on a permanent basis.
As part of a growing team, you will manage a small team of officers and actively support the creation of the Building Safety Case Report, essential for securing the Building Assessment Certificate for each designated property. In addition, you'll play a key role in upholding building safety standards through ongoing assessments. This includes reviewing maintenance and testing activities, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating fire safety protocols and structural integrity to ensure a consistently safe environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering genuinely cooperative approaches and shared outcomes.
* Practical experience in operational building safety, with solid knowledge of active fire systems, mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, and specialised safety installations.
* Highly proficient in computer use, with the ability to input and retrieve data across various management software systems.
* Hold or be actively pursuing at least a Level 3 qualification in Building Safety / fire safety.
