Digital Media Specialist - Part Time
Temporary contract, immediate start to 31st December 2025
£16.14 per hour
20 hours per week
Monday to Friday 13.00 - 17.00
Remote working (For induction purposes must be able to commute to Dunstable for the first week)
We are seeking a part-time Digital Media Specialist to assist in shaping and executing our client's North American marketing strategy. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on implementation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating impactful marketing initiatives within a global matrix organization.
Responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with BU Brand Activation and BU Brand Communications to define and refine social media strategies aligned with business goals.
* Managing organic and paid social media campaigns in the US and Canada to increase brand awareness and engagement, including designing and executing campaigns across multiple channels using Sprinklr.
* Acting as the primary liaison between North America and the agency, managing budgets, billing, and campaign optimizations.
* Evaluating agency performance and providing feedback for process and outcome improvements.
* Developing and managing North American social media content calendars for consistent, relevant content.
* Ensuring messaging and visual identity consistency across platforms.
* Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, providing insights for improvements.
* Tracking industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
* Supporting metrics development to measure advertising effectiveness.
* Implementing the Advocacy program and publishing optimized content.
* Managing community interactions by responding to comments appropriately.
* Aligning social media content and activation with overall strategy.
* Implementing SEO strategies to improve online visibility.
* Training team members on social media best practices and tools.
* Creating newsletters/e-blasts via Click Dimensions.
* Publishing local press releases on the website.
Core Competencies:
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong design and presentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint or similar.
* Experience with marketing platforms such as Sprinklr, Seismic, Click Dimensions, or similar CRM and email tools.
* Analytical skills to track and report marketing metrics.
* Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn, Meta, X.
* Knowledge of media planning, analytics, and KPIs.
* Vendor negotiation experience.
* Experience with billing, budgeting, and reconciliation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Sprinklr and Click Dimensions preferred.
