Given the current priorities, a passion for accelerating literacy would be an advantage. It is important to us that applicants are able to understand and use basic te reo Māori as part of New Zealand English.

As a semi-rural school close to Christchurch, at the heart of our community, our development programme is based on a strong vision. We’re in the midst of PB4L and restorative practices, curriculum and cultural capability development. We have 830 students, Y7–13, most of whom are very well supported from home and well connected to their school, some of whom need us to adapt our practice to meet their needs.
Terms and conditions of employment are covered under the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement. Applicants for this position should be eligible to work in NZ. Commencing 2025 term 1 ideally.
