Take Me Somewhere Festival is looking for a passionate Marketing Manager to join the team, to deliver communications and audience engagement campaigns across our programme of work.
The Marketing Manager will devise and deliver communications and audience engagement campaigns for Take Me Somewhere Festival (October 2025 and biennially) and our Studio Somewhere artist development programme, including forward strategy.

Over the next three years (2025-2028), the Marketing Manager’s work will make a significant contribution towards the following aim:
‘To effectively engage a broad range of communities providing experiences of value through radical performance.’
Specifically, a core question for us over this period is ‘How do we reach everyone we could be for?

1. Implementation of our Audience Engagement Strategy.
2. Delivery of a range of communication plans that engage and delight each of our audience segments.
3. Ensuring appropriate approaches are adopted across each strand of our programme.
4. Compile and report data and feedback on campaigns to the festival team and use this to continually grow our audience engagement.
Marketing /PR Campaigns:
1. Manage the festival marketing budget and develop tactics that will maximise its effectiveness.
2. Ensure coverage is provided to all elements of the Festival programme.
3. Develop and implement strategies that continue to extend our reach across Glasgow, Scotland, and the world.
4. Oversee and implement marketing activity including copywriting, delivery of print, distribution, signage, direct marketing.
5. Deliver a bespoke marketing campaign targeting Deaf & Disabled audience members, promoting the access provision within the Festival.
With PR and Brand Manager:
1. Deliver advertising and outdoor campaigns, maximising any potential opportunities in line with budget.
2. Ensure design and creative content is on brand and delivered on time.
3. Work closely with artists on the supply of content.
4. Work with the team to compile, proof, and edit content.
5. Support the delivery of a comprehensive press campaign.
6. Highlight the leading role TMS has as a sector support organisation.
7. Create content for distribution across social media & digital platforms.
8. Help develop and deliver year-round marketing/communication plans for Studio Somewhere/artistic development programme.
