Music Administrator Core Purpose: Music is a specialist subject at our schools and as such the music department is very busy, with many events and teaching activities during the day and out of school hours. The post holder will be crucial in providing organisational and logistical support to this esteemed department, supporting a team of 4 academic staff and 30 peripatetic staff. There are approximately 450 instrumental/singing lessons per week and in the region of 30 music events, trips and concerts throughout the year. This is a challenging role, requiring calm efficiency and good humour. You will play a vital role in ensuring the music department remains a beacon of excellence across the city. This role particularly suits someone with an eye for detail and organisational diligence, but also with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with other staff, students, parents/carers and external partners.
