Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Bolton Position Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: Teach Match Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Bolton. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with SEND, assisting them in both academic and social development. Implement tailored learning strategies in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). Support students in managing their emotions and behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom activities. Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required. Ensure the welfare and safety of all students, following safeguarding guidelines. Requirements: Previous experience working with children, preferably within a SEND setting. A genuine passion for working with children with special needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and resilience. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
