Role: Key Account Manager Location: Hitchin Alcedo Selection is proud to be partnered with a globally recognised successful German material manufacturing/engineering company looking to increase its business in the UK. They operate out of 3 sites in the UK and are looking to expand our sales team at the Hitchin site. The role of Key Account Manager is an office based role and centres around developing customer spend through delivering sales and service excellence. They service a diverse range of sectors including Medical, Aerospace, Electonics and many more. they have a vast range of sector accreditations including AS9100D for Aerospace standards. The primary focus is on sales and customer service, including account management of a number of key customers and the development of new customers. The successful candidates will ideally possess; · Highly organised, with a customer centric approach to sales ideally within materials or engineering services industries. · Proven track record of handling customer enquiries, preparing and following up quotations. · Reporting on customer performance with the view to developing account management and development plans. · Experience as first point of contact for a range of customers and relationship building · Excellent communication skills via telephone and e-mail. · Moderate IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office programmes.
