Talented Pastry Chef de Partie, to join our Botanical Rooms kitchen team and
work alongside our Head Chef to serve delicious and creative desserts, bakery
and pastry items, designed to elevate our guests' experience during afternoon
tea or after dinner.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the
Botanical Rooms Head Chef to manage and develop the pastry section, utilising
the estate's fresh ingredients and actively participating in menu development
Execute and oversee the
creation of our pastries and desserts, with exceptional attention to detail
Effectively communication
with the wider Botanical Rooms team and ensure orders are executed in a timely
Proven experience in a
similar senior pastry role, preferably within a high-end restaurant or luxury
establishment
Demonstrated knowledge of
pastry and dessert techniques, including sugar and chocolate
Demonstrated attention to
detail and high standards of food knowledge
Exceptional attention to
detail, ensuring both taste and presentation are perfectly executed
Passion for food and a strong
commitment to using fresh ingredients
Leadership skills with the
ability to develop and motivate a kitchen team
Excellent organisational and
communication skills
Ability to thrive in a
team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Ability to work under
pressure whilst maintaining your professionalism and team cohesion
