Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our group finance team based in Southport as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our purchase ledger workstream. Your key responsibilities will include receiving and processing purchase invoices into the business, sending and chasing authorisations, approval entry onto accounts system and processing of payment runs.
You’ll collaborate across the finance team, ensuring smooth operation and service delivery to the wider group as well as opportunities to develop accounting skills with exposure to other areas of the function.
This permanent role will be 5 days per week at our Southport office.
What Are We Looking For?
Accurate data input and maintenance from organised and detail orientated individual
Comfortable working with numbers across a variety of stakeholders
Pleasant telephone manner and effective communication skills over a variety of media
Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365
Experience with accounts systems desired but not essential
