Do you want to help change the affordable housing landscape in York and across North Yorkshire? Do you want to support local people to grow agency and community ownership in a region which suffers from challenging social and economic inequality?
YorSpace is a Community Land Trust with an ambitious plan to provide low carbon, forever affordable neighbourhoods across the City of York and the wider region. We are a small but very ambitious organisation led by local people who are passionate about disrupting the status quo and to deliver meaningful, positive and transformative change to the way we live, work and play.
At YorSpace, we are well on the way to bringing 19 low-carbon, lower cost homes and a community house at Lowfield Green on the edge of the City centre to the brink of completion.
Now as we turn our attention to the future, YorSpace is looking for that perfect person to expand our growing team and support our wider ambitions. Your can-do attitude and values-driven approach will help YorSpace in delivering the strongest social impact in the city.
This is a very exciting time to be joining us as we begin work on a revitalised long-term vision for the organisation; designed to best serve the needs and voices of local people. Our not-for-profit organisation is still in its relative infancy so there is no better time to get involved!
So, if you like what we do and would love to get involved, we very much look forward to hearing from you.
