We are looking for a candidate who has excellent remote troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose software and hardware faults, while supporting customers and Field Engineers remotely. This position is for a busy Help Desk at a well-established digital print solution and telecoms provider based in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Benefits
LOCATION: Hertford, Hertfordshire 100% Office Based

Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer (known within the business as a Remote Customer Support Engineer). You will be responsible for resolving issues in a timely fashion while providing a high level of service to clients.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Technical Support Engineer include:
* Diagnose hardware faults and where applicable send out customer fit parts
* Diagnose and rectify printing and scanning issues
* Set up devices on remote monitoring solutions
* Remotely assist engineers while on site
* Ensure the field team has all the relevant information for the specified fault
* Assist with warranty processes
* Support the planning team with technical queries
Candidate Requirements
* Strong technical knowledge across all manufacturers
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with hardware faults and networking
* Proficient with team viewer and remote tools
* Experience with vantage online
* Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
* Knowledge of our remote monitoring solutions
