Salary: Grade 6, £28,624 - £31,586 per annum.

Your role:
The postholder will be required to provide financial support to both internal and external customers.
This will include;
* Validating and processing of early years data for the universal, extended, 2 year old and 9 month to 2 year old free entitlement, Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) and Disability Access Fund (DAF) from information submitted by Early Years Providers as part of their 3 termly Headcount submissions. In addition, dealing with a range of queries raised by these providers relating to these areas and providing IT support for the Portal.
* Monitoring and reporting of the Public Health budget (circa £30M) and Early Years General Fund budgets. This involves dealing with queries raised by both budget holders, senior officers and external organisations.
About you:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualities;
* Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own and team workload taking into account timescales and deadlines
* Able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and service delivery and able to work unsocial hours occasionally
* Candidates must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and experience of working in financial administration.
