Actio Technical Recruitment is assisting our electronics client in Ferndown in finding a Stores Team Leader.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of Material Handlers and manage the stores department, ensuring efficient operations and high standards.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting on time delivery (kitting, booking in and dispatch), stock accuracy, and productivity.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores department.
• Ensure accurate and timely handling, storage, and dispatch of electronic components.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock checks.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to meet operational goals.
• Provide training and support to team members.
Essential Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic component recognition and handling.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Benefits:
• £28,000 - £30,000 per year.
• 4-day work week
