About Inwood House:
Step into the welcoming world of Inwood House! Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Horbury, just a stone's throw from Wakefield, Inwood House presents an idyllic setting for residential care. At Inwood House, we cater to up to 50 residents, providing a warm, family-like atmosphere where currently 31 individuals call home. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised care, with a focus on dementia and residential support. We also offer short-term respite and rehabilitation services, ensuring a comprehensive care experience.
The home boasts several communal lounges, a charming on-site café, a professional hairdressing salon, a spacious dining room, and a sun-drenched room. These spaces are designed for relaxation and enjoyment, overlooking the splendid views of our gardens. Inwood House is a hive of activity - we offer an array of social opportunities, from engaging craft sessions to karaoke, arts, bingo, and our popular "knit & natter" gatherings, not to mention “fish and chip Fridays”!
About the Role:
As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing quality care and support. This pivotal role involves:
* Overseeing the overall night shift as the most senior person on duty during night hours.
* Assisting residents throughout the night, including personal care and medication.
* Offering support and companionship during night hours.
* Completing night checks to ensure comfort and wellbeing.
* Undertaking cleaning and laundry duties throughout the home.

* Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
