What's involved with this role: Role: Senior Digital Engagement Manager Job Ref: QAD 3639/2304 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rate Hours per week: 37 hours per week Contract Length: Anticipated 6 months Location: Hybrid – min 40% non-negotiable in the office (3 days a week) / Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield As an experienced communications and engagement specialist, you’ll lead the design and delivery of change communication plans. Working closely with the Head of Digital Engagement and your role lead, you’ll help deliver on the Director of Data and Analytics’ priorities. You’ll engage with senior teams to align engagement strategies with business goals and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple, and often competing, priorities. This temporary position will focus on communication and engagement for the implementation of the organisation’s Data Strategy. This includes embedding a new ‘hub and spoke’ model across the department, supporting the integration of D&A resources into business units, and driving awareness and adoption of change. You'll also identify and promote success stories, while addressing cultural and process barriers to change. Key requirements: Strategic Communication: Knowledge of defining a strategy that delivers business needs Change Communication Knowledge: Experience of delivering a change programme where your strategy had made audiences aware of the change, created a desire for the change, ensured they have the adequate knowledge, abilities and resources to embrace and embed the change. Content Creation: Ability to design and develop engaging content across various formats including text, graphics, videos, infographics, and presentations tailored to different audiences. Digital Analytics: Understanding how to interpret data from web analytics tools to measure campaign performance, track audience behaviour, and optimise communication strategies. Audience Segmentation: Identifying and targeting different audience groups with tailored messaging based on their needs and interests. Storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives to capture attention, evoke emotions, and connect with the audience on a deeper level.
