Become a Merchandising Assistant We’re looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our Merchandising team here at The Works You’ll sit within our Supply Chain function and play a key part in our team structure. Your Mission Review all daily orders that are delivered and prepare allocations. Responsible for ensuring all allocations are completed in a timely manner following the allocation plan. Liaise with our Warehouse teams with queries on orders/pack quantities. Be a key contact for our stores with queries on allocations. Monitor deliveries and stock levels and communicate with suppliers accordingly. Review Distribution Centre and store stocks weekly to ensure optimisation of stock by channel Set up and manage new lines on the system including purchase order raising. Ensure all information is correctly attributed in the system for analysis. Prepare weekly sales reports. Provide relevant analysis as required to support correct business decisions. Highlight lines and recommend actions to be taken on over and under-performing lines. Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart Computer literate to include working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook with a confidence to learn new systems. Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse data. Previous experience within the retail sector or in a customer facing role.
