Connect Grp UK are recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for a new build residential project in Cambridge. The project consists of all aspects of 1st & 2nd fix installations on an apartment block including PVC, MLC and copper press pipework. You will be required to hold a valid CSCS with SSSTS or SMSTS is required. Previous experience in delivering similar projects is preferred along with 1st aid qualification. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation. Manage all mechanical subcontractors, ensuring high quality standards. Prepare and submit necessary applications for building permits and statutory approvals. Oversee the day-to-day activities of mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget. Monitor progress and identify potential risks and issues proactively. Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and industry best practices. Manage and resolve any site-related issues, including coordination with other trades and addressing any unforeseen challenges. Rate: £350 a day Hours: 8.00-17.00 (9hrs a day) Duration: 12 months Location: Cambridge Free Parking available
