Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Business Development Manager to support its partnerships, events, and hospitality sales ambitions at the bet365 Stadium.

Main Responsibilities
* Sourcing potential clients and arranging face to face meetings with them.
* Creating bespoke proposals that align the club’s commercial portfolio to client objectives and closing the sale.
* Identifying and executing revenue generating opportunities to diversify and maximise income streams.
* Achieving and exceeding revenue targets set by the Chief Operating Officer.
* Providing regular updates on sales performance and revenue projections.
* Creating and presenting tailored commercial proposals that align with client goals.
* Generating high levels of sales activity through outbound calling, face to face meetings, and networking at events.
* Growing and developing client relationships to increase customer spend and propensity to renew.
* Collaborating closely with departmental delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and agreements are fulfilled, while regularly updating department heads on proposals and sales pipeline.
* Adhering to the club’s policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding and code of conduct.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a sales focused role, preferably within sports or entertainment.
* Strong communication and relationship building skills.
* Strategic thinker with a results driven approach.
* Excellent negotiation skills to secure beneficial agreements and partnerships.
* Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
* Commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium.
The position will be offered on a full time basis. All relevant training will be provided.
