An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Maternity Support Worker to play a pivotal role in the delivery of care to our women who have diabetes and participate in the safe and effective management of the midwifery services under the supervision of registered nurses and midwives.
The Diabetes Maternity Support Worker will contribute in a variety of activities of patient/client care to the level of experience and assessed competence that he/she has acquired. The service users come from a variety of cultural backgrounds and the Diabetes Maternity Support Worker must be able to communicate effectively.
We are looking for an individual who is committed, compassionate and self-motivated, able to work well within a team and under pressure. We are looking for a friendly professional with excellent communication skills, ability to form good partnerships.
