Job Title: Senior Human Resources Officer Location: Belfast Band: 6 Contract: Temporary (full-time) Hours: 37.5 hours/week Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer to support the HR Manager in delivering the Workforce Equality and Diversity Plan. This role involves overseeing equality monitoring, data reporting, and providing strategic guidance on equality and quality improvement within the HR & OD Directorate. Strong experience in using EXCEL for data analysis and reporting is essential. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and delivery of workforce equality and diversity objectives. Prepare and analyse equality data to meet statutory and organisational requirements. Manage equality monitoring within HR Information Systems. Provide advice on employment equality legislation, policies, and best practices. Coordinate mandatory and bespoke equality training for staff. Essential Criteria: Degree or equivalent plus 2 years of HR experience (or 5 years HR experience, 2 at Band 5 level). Experience with computerised information systems and advanced skills in EXCEL (Power BI is a plus). Strong knowledge of HR policies and current employment legislation.
