Make a Real Impact with the Environment Agency
The environment is changing fast, and the effects are everywhere. But here's the exciting part: you can be part of the solution. At the Environment Agency, we don't just react to environmental changes – we lead the way in protecting and enhancing the natural world for people, communities, and wildlife.
We're on a mission to make a positive impact by adapting to climate change, working alongside various partners to protect communities from flooding, ensure a sustainable water supply, and set environmental standards for industries. And we want you to join us on this mission.
The Opportunity: Graduate Electrical Engineers Wanted
Are you a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation, Control, and Automation? Ready to use your skills to reduce flood risks, protect communities, and help us reach our goal of becoming a carbon net-zero organization by 2030?
Join our MEICA teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) and embark on a career that matters. As a graduate engineer with us, you'll dive into a comprehensive four-to-five-year training program designed to build your skills in everything from asset management and project planning to design and site supervision.
You'll work on real projects, tackle real challenges, and gain hands-on experience in various parts of the organization. With guidance from expert mentors and a structured development path, you'll be on track to achieve Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
