Your new role
As our new Landscape Architect, you will be part of our landscape specialism within Ramboll, a leading design, engineering, and consultancy company. We work as a national team with landscape architects working in our Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, and Oxford offices. Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of an exciting team of experts, who respect each other and work towards creating sustainable societies where people and nature flourish.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Desk-based analysis, research, data collection and interpretation
* Site visits and technical photography
* Preparation of written and graphic materials for design and assessment reports
* Participation in discussions with clients, other disciplines, and stakeholders
* Working with the wider landscape team to develop our approach to presentation and graphics
* Informing the development of new tools for landscape design and assessment with our Digitalisation team
About you
* Masters/Post-Graduate degree from a Landscape Institute accredited course
* Commenced, or keen to commence, on the Pathway to Chartership
* Have prior experience in both landscape design and assessment projects
* Ability to work successfully and build relationships with colleagues/other consultants in the delivery of high quality and robust outputs
* Good oral and written communication skills in English
* Numerically competent
* Well organised and able to prioritise and manage their own workload with minimal supervision
* Ability to use a range of IT packages including Revit/CAD/Civil3D, GIS software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
