We are seeking individuals to assist with exam invigilation and also to support students with access arrangements which could include being a ‘reader’ and a ‘scribe’.
This will be over the course of the academic year, on a casual basis.
Duties will include:
1. Preparing exam halls and rooms
2. Assisting with seating
3. Ensuring school procedures are adhered to
Invigilators need to be reliable and punctual, empathetic towards our students, able to follow instructions, and able to stand/walk about for up to 3 hours. A flexible approach is important as unexpected situations may arise during exams, requiring the ability to switch priorities. A committed approach to your allocated dates is vital.
No previous experience is required; new invigilators will be fully trained, mostly by shadowing experienced invigilators during our mock weeks.
Training will be provided. The school can offer flexible opportunities in the mornings and/or afternoons on certain days of the week if candidates hold other jobs. Exact dates will be confirmed well in advance, with the possibility of additional sessions being offered later as unexpected situations arise. Invigilators offered later dates will have the option to decline or accept as they wish.
Foxford has a great deal to be proud of. We are the kind of place people want to work, with a meaningful focus on excellence and a desire to continuously improve.
Application Deadline: 9:00am Sunday 23 February 2025
Early applications are encouraged as the Trust reserves the right to call suitable candidates to interview prior to the closing date.
Please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2024.
