Job Summary
Due to expansion and high workload, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and be capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles while delivering exceptional service.
Duties
1. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
2. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake services.
3. Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
4. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
5. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and provide clear explanations.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
1. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
2. A valid driving licence is essential.
3. Certification from an accredited automotive training programme is advantageous.
4. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in the automotive industry.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
