About the role
As Employer Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Ascentis provision, with accounts in the employer market. The role requires a balanced focus across Ascentis offerings, focusing mainly on Functional Skills and ESOL qualifications, ensuring that opportunities are maximised throughout the year.
You will represent Ascentis qualifications at a range of internal and external events, generating new business from potential customers. You will work closely with employers, promoting Ascentis qualifications, meeting targets, and driving forward new business initiatives with a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
While new customer acquisition is key, the role also prioritises relationship management. You’ll also manage the accounts you bring in, ensuring exceptional customer care and long-term partnership development to facilitate long-term growth and collaboration.
You will maintain meaningful communication with your accounts through virtual and in-person meetings. National travel, including overnight stays, is a key part of this role, allowing you to build strong, in-person relationships.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You’ll have excellent communication and presentation abilities and be confident in taking a consultative, relationship-focused approach to sales.
You’ll be goal-oriented and ambitious, but equally focused on developing sustainable, meaningful partnerships rather than chasing quick wins.
While experience selling to employers is an advantage, it’s not essential as we will provide full training on our products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a values-driven organisation, with a competitive bonus structure and full support to succeed.
