Seeking Female Support Worker - Southport

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to assist an amazing individual who’s all about maintaining his independence while enjoying the good things in life! If you’re someone who’s patient, a great communicator, and a safe, reliable driver with a fun-loving attitude, we want to hear from you! Your own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
The role will include assistance with housework, meal prep, and community access.
Shift times are Wednesday 9:00am-3:00pm.

The hourly base rate is $34.45/hr plus penalties for Evening, Night, Weekend, and Public Holiday Shifts (sorry, rate not negotiable).
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

* Have experience in the disability field

* Have awesome multitasking, prioritising skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
* Hold a NDIS Worker Screening Card and Working with Children Blue Card
* Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
* Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
* Deliver high-quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
* Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
* Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients' needs
* Provide support to our Clients as required
* Support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
* Have good rapport-building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
* Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
* Be reliable, flexible, and responsive to fill shifts when required
