Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Accounts Assistant on behalf of our reputable and well-established manufacturing client based in Lees, Oldham (OL4).
* Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (flexibility with hours of work)
* Location: Lees, Oldham (OL4)
* Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
The Accounts Assistant will be working within a small office team to look after accounts duties, as well as a variety of other administrative tasks.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Purchase Ledger duties
* Sales Ledger and Credit Control duties
* Payroll once a month
* HR duties such as onboarding and inputting new starter details
* Liaising with couriers to schedule deliveries for customer orders
* Working closely with Management, the Sales & Customer Service team, as well as Production
* Any other administrative tasks as required by the wider business
To be considered for this role, you will:
* Have previous experience working within a varied Accounts position
* Preferably have experience completing payroll for internal staff
* Any HR experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential
* Have excellent attention-to-detail and accuracy
* Be a competent systems user that can quickly pick up CRM systems, and efficiently use Microsoft Office (including Excel)
* Be a great team-player, however also be able to independently manage their own work load
* Be reliable and dedicated
