An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and motivated MSK physiotherapists to join our Richmond MSK service within full time and part time band 7 roles.
The MSK service is made up of a large team of physiotherapists, including a consultant physiotherapist and advanced physiotherapy practitioners, allowing regular supervisions and learning opportunities. The service also has a MSK interface service and women's health service. The service offers physiotherapy through face-to-face, virtual, and classes including hydrotherapy and shockwave.
You will be expected to supervise and teach staff, whilst also being involved in service improvement projects.
Candidates must be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and hold a degree in physiotherapy.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide an expert and highly developed musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and appropriate onward management of patients presenting with chronic and acute musculoskeletal problems referred via their GP or other health professionals.
Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimise individuals' physical activity, mobility, fulfilment of personal goals and independence, and that minimise the need for pharmacological interventions.
Support more junior staff with training, supervision, and appraisal, whilst also being involved in service improvement projects.

Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registration
* Relevant special interest group membership
* Evidence of CPPD to Master's level or equivalent (i.e., qualified member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Injection Therapy, relevant MSc, and drug prescribing course)
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of complex pain syndromes
* Able to assess and diagnose a range of complex conditions providing appropriate treatment options
* Awareness of trust vision, values, and strategic objectives
* Good working knowledge of all areas of clinical governance including quality, audit, and risk management
* Understands the legal responsibilities of the profession
* Excellent knowledge of the Equality Act and its implications related to service provision and learning within a public sector body
* Knowledge of CQC standards and how they relate to outpatients
Experience
* Significant experience in musculoskeletal specialty of Physiotherapy in the NHS or equivalent experience.
