Hourly rate: £14:50
Working Days/Hours: 37 hours: Monday- Friday- shift patterns which range between 7:30-16:00 and 09:00-18:00.
Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their Meet and Greet customer services team as a team leader.
Experience Needed/desired:
* Customer Service experience
* Experience in team leading and management
* Candidates must have strong resilience and the ability to work under pressure and deal with vulnerable customers.
* Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
* Candidate must be willing to work 100% from office
* At least five GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English Language.
List the duties/ responsibilities:
As an Executive Officer (EO), they will work as a team leader.
Some responsibilities will include:
Managing a team of between 1 to 10 and will be responsible for guiding, monitoring, and leading the entire team.
They will oversee day-to-day operation, delegate tasks, ensure each of the above shift patterns is covered, ensure the staff provide excellent customer service to customers, monitor team's/individual performance, and conduct regular check-ins with the team members to discuss their goals, performance, and wellbeing.
They will also be expected to perform all duties of an Admin Officer, as and when required.
This includes welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner, guiding and helping them through their visit to one of our locations. Escort the customers on site; ensure they feel welcomed and are comfortable and ready to conduct their asylum interviews.
Training:
The Home Office will provide a 4 week training period, consisting of shadowing experienced team members and on the job learning.
Please note that no annual leave will be permitted during the 4 weeks of training.
Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. Please note that a period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
