Permanent 36 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, shift allowance of 7.5% payable.
As part of Cleaner Communities and reporting to the Stores Team Leader you would work as part of a team of four to provide the delivery of Stores services for Operational Services based at Whitehill Service Centre Bathgate.
The post holder will be required to provide effective stores, plant and fuel services for Operational Services and to perform such other duties associated with this work.
The post holder will be required to provide an effective plant and vehicle hire system for Operational Services
The post holder will work closely with the Stores Team Leader in ensuring that the internal and external stores and plant hire is run in an efficient and safe working manner.
The post holder will act as the nominated stores contact whenever the Stores Team Leader has left the office or is absent from workplace.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 12 months working in a stores environment
Knowledge of multi service materials
Proactive in identifying ways of improving service provision
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and elected members
IT Skills
Desirable Criteria:
Full UK Driving Licence
Forklift Licence
Has knowledge and understanding of small plant hire
Knowledge and experience of electronic stores processing
Applicants must be able to work the second Saturday of each month
Mon – Thurs: 7:00 – 15:00
Friday: 7:00 – 12:00
2nd Saturday of every month: 7:00 – 11:00
