We’re delighted to be supporting a local authority who are currently seeking to recruit a Residential Home Manager to support their Nottingham-based team.
It is essential that this candidate holds relevant qualifications and an Enhanced DBS. The successful candidate will be working with children with physical disabilities, associated learning difficulties and sensory and health needs.
Responsibilities
* Treating each child as an individual with specific needs
* Offer the highest standard of physical and emotional care, consistent with the child’s routine
* Empower children by offering choices wherever possible
* Involve children and their families in the decisions that affect their lives
* Treating children with respect and being compassionate and empathetic
Skills & Experience
* Experience working with children and young people in a managerial capacity
* Inspirational and experienced natural leader
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Proficient using a range of IT Software including Microsoft Office
* Must obtain an Enhanced DBS
