An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly and dynamic rapidly expanding Respiratory Team. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with experience in Respiratory / Acute healthcare to be part of an innovative multidisciplinary team to help us deliver safe, effective high quality patient care. Respiratory is an exciting and rewarding specialty. This role is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills whilst supporting a team to help provide and deliver safe, effective, high quality patient care.
We will offer you direct support from the Ward Manager and Senior Nursing team to continue with professional development and lifelong learning. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge of Acute Respiratory.
Main duties of the job
Assist in providing patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring that all relevant information is documented appropriately.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Assist in the movement and positioning of patients as required.

- Will be required to work within the recognised Manual Handling Guidelines.
- May be required to work in confined spaces.
