RoleSummary:
We are looking for a compassionate anddedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. In this roleyou will provide essential care and support to children and youngpeople ensuring their emotional physical and developmental needsare met in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* ChildCenteredCare: Provide consistent care and support tochildren ensuring their needs are met in a compassionate andchildfocused manner.
* Daily LivingSupport: Assist with everyday tasks such as personalcare cooking cleaning and managing pocket money while encouragingthe development of lifeskills.
* KeyWorking: Act as a key worker or cokey workersupporting individual care plans and helping children achieve theirfull potential.
* EducationalSupport: Encourage and support childrens educationand learning activities both in and out of thehome.
* Compliance:Adhere to care plans risk assessments and company policies toensure a safe and compliantenvironment.
* RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate records including dailylogs and financial records to ensure thorough documentation ofcare.
* Health &Safety: Ensure all health and safety standards aremet contributing to a safe living and workingenvironment.
* TeamCollaboration: Work closely with colleagues todeliver consistent highquality care participating actively in teammeetings and handovers.
EssentialQualifications and Experience:
* Experience:Previous experience in a residential care setting is preferredespecially working with children or youngpeople.
* Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childrens Residential Care is preferred butnot essential; training opportunities are available for the rightcandidate.
* Skills:Strong communication skills the ability to work effectively as partof a team and a commitment to providing highqualitycare.
* Right toWork: Must have the right to work in the UK withoutrequiring sponsorship.

* Collaboration:Contribute to a positive team environment working together toachieve the homesobjectives.
* Support:Provide informal support to colleagues helping to maintain aconsistent approach tocare.
