This role involves managing and executing the people transformational aspects of all mobilisation, demobilisation, and restructuring activities, with a focus on implementing a robust project management plan that ensures task clarity and stakeholder ownership. Additionally, the candidate is expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including Trade Union Representatives, People Directors, People Business Partners, Managing Directors, and Operations Managers, to facilitate clear two-waymunication and maintain high visibility of all project activities.
The primary responsibilities of this role include driving continuous improvement in policies and processes to deliver top-tier service, providing seamless and sound employment law advice, and actively enhancing the people's quality of service. The candidate will lead and manage large-scale mobilisation, demobilisation, andplex change programs, ensuring ethical and legalpliance with clear project plans and risk management. Collaboration with the People Business Partner (BP) on organisational design, alongside the Account Director and Senior Leadership team, is essential for delivering business-as-usual (BAU) items, coaching on case management, and addressing recruitment and onboarding challenges. The role also involves supporting pay queries,pliance issues, implementing the Mitie People Plan, and ensuring robust absence management with thepany OH provider.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in agile project management across various locations and the ability to professionally influence decision-makers. The ideal applicant will have experience with large-scale TUPE transfers, managing business acquisitions and sales, and handlingplex change management projects, including redundancies and dismissals, preferably in amercial setting. A strong understanding of Employment Legislation, excellentmunication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure are essential. The candidate should be a superb team player, capable of fostering trust and flexibility within the team, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
