Location
You’ll be based at our Schroders Campus near Horsham, West Sussex. This spacious and well-equipped campus offers a vibrant working environment, complete with an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, and gym. Commuters benefit from a dedicated shuttle bus to and from Horsham’s main line train station.
Role Overview
As a vital member of our client-facing teams, you will provide essential administrative support to our financial planning advisers throughout the advice process, often acting as the point of contact for clients regarding administrative matters.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare meeting packs and documentation for client meetings and annual reviews.
* Carry out day-to-day administrative functions, including application submissions and maintaining data on our internal CRM system.
* Ensure ongoing communication with clients and providers throughout processing.
* Conduct electronic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
* Obtain necessary information from ceding schemes and providers to support research.
* Assist in preparing recommendation reports and client correspondence.
* Manage new business submissions and asset transfers, ensuring compliance documentation is submitted.
* Prepare and send documents for electronic signing via Adobe Sign.
* Address telephone and email inquiries from clients and providers.
* Handle general administrative tasks such as post, scanning, photocopying, and filing.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 12 months of administrative experience within Financial Services, preferably in wealth management or financial planning.
* Familiarity with Client Management Systems.
* Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
* Motivated team player capable of building relationships with advisers and clients.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:
* R01, FA1, FA2 Qualified, or an aspiration to qualify is advantageous.
