MAINTENANCE MANAGER - GENEROUS BENEFITS PACKAGE

They now require a Maintenance Manager, in a newly created role to drive their performance-focused engineering strategy at their site. The successful candidate will lead the reactive maintenance efforts to ensure all plant and equipment operate at peak performance by maximising asset availability. This role will be pivotal in enhancing and implementing the site safe systems of work policy and process, guiding the engineering team with a strong emphasis on safety in every aspect of the operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MAINTENANCE MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:
Lead, motivate, and develop team members through core values, performance management, and training solutions.
Enhance business performance by partnering with key stakeholders.
Align the site's asset care strategy with HSE roadmap for machinery safety compliance.
Lead daily operational review meetings, fostering continuous improvement.
Provide efficient service to all engineering requests, including site services and facilities.
Make financially sound decisions based on cost allocation, avoidance, and benefits.
Manage cost allocation and labour budget within the area of responsibility.
Collaborate with the Development Maintenance Manager to align the asset care strategy.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar in fast-paced manufacturing
Engineering qualification HNC or Degree level
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM
Operational and financial understanding, budget control
Successful capital project implementation, project management skills
Familiarity with equipment, suppliers, and services
Engineering Planned Maintenance Systems
Meeting, negotiation, and presentation skills
Project management
IT proficiency, MS Office suite, in house systems
Time management and planning
