Wrap Around Care
In September, we launched Paxton's Wrap Around Care, Sunset (Afterschool club) which provides a seamless transition between home and school at the school day through providing a fun filled provision with creative activities which are positive and purposeful and support children's social and emotional development.
You will deliver a planned and co-ordinated programme of activities, providing formal and informal learning opportunities for pupils. You will interact positively with pupils with a variety of needs, establishing good relationships and providing them with a positive role model. You will also help prepare a healthy breakfast each day.
You will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills. You will be able to work well as part of a team and have the ability to use initiative and respond to situations appropriately, including those involving learning or incidences of behaviour. You will be in charge of line managing staff. You will be able to use cooking equipment, and have an awareness of food hygiene and health and safety.
