We are looking passionate part time (16 hours per week) Senior Sales Assistants to join our 77 Fulham Road flagship store.
A JOSEPH Senior Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring that each customer is provided with exceptional customer service and a luxury retail experience
As a Senior Sales Assistant you will support the store management team by demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of customer service and JOSEPH product, while supporting with identifying commercial opportunities and assisting with operational duties.

Sales Generation
* Demonstrate awareness of the targets for the store as well as individual targets of which you will hold yourself accountable to.
* Maximize every opportunity to increase your sales targets (e.g. ATV and UPT).
* Develop commercial knowledge by shadowing the store management team and contribute by making sales initiative suggestions and reviewing commercial data.
* In partnership with the store management team develop personal sales techniques and assist with delivering training to team members on these techniques to maximize sales.
* Support the store management team in identifying initiatives to help achieve targets set for Data Capture in store.
Customer Service
* Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the brand, product and customer.
* Deliver a luxury shopping experience to all customers, which is inspiring and engaging and encourages purchase.
* Handle customer enquiries quickly and efficiently and escalate to management where appropriate.
* Build a reputable client book through repeat business and work to develop your personal network of clients via a form of varied of communications.
Store Operations
* Support the store management team in the day to day running of the store, demonstrate excellent store administration and organisational skills.
* Adhere to all JOSEPH policies and procedures. Attend relevant HR training to understand, advise and drive initiatives where appropriate.
* Escalate where appropriate staff welfare matters and work issues.
* Understand and support with the execution of cash control procedures including: banking, safe funds, petty cash in collaboration with the Store Management team.
* Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping.
* Process and replenish merchandise as well as monitor floor stock.
* Help update store price changes and stock checks.
* Participate in year-end inventory.
* Support the store management team with the control of stock and processing deliveries; transfers and stock returns as necessary.

* Help monitor store security through vigilant customer service and consistent application of store changing room procedures and tagging.
* Undertake daily tasks as required by the store management team.
* Take ownership of your role and work to support the store team to achieve goals.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Demonstrable experience of working in a luxury retail or premium retail environment where face-to-face customer contact is essential.
* Experience of delivering strong clienteling initiatives within a luxury retail or premium retail environment.
* Sales driven, proven experience of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
* Knowledge of POS and store systems.
* Demonstrable commercial and brand awareness.
* Experience of delivering excellent standards of customer service in a luxury environment.
* Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate via varied channels.
* Demonstrable relationship building skills, able to collaborate and motivate peers.
* Self-motivated with a drive to succeed.
* Positive and solutions driven attitude.
* Consistently show a positive attitude and take responsibility for own actions.
* Excellent product knowledge; motivated to continuously build product knowledge and to support with driving knowledge amongst teams.
