Salary: Grade 8: £45,140 to £57,803 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £64,606 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.

Digital Services are looking for 2 Digital Analysts to join our Technical Support Team to support a range of University IT applications. To work as part of a team to support and deliver change that will substantially benefit the University and ensure the delivery of a robust, efficient and user-friendly service to our customers across the University. Contribute to the application roadmap and backlog, delivering high quality, documented requirements to ensure timely delivery of agreed workloads through well planned sprints. Work with team members under the direction of Architects and Applications Manager to deliver the strategy and future plans for the Applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the team to size, prioritise and update items in the backlog
* Contribute to the development of one, three and five year plans and on-going future development
* Be fully aware of supplier roadmaps and the timelines to deliver new functionality and deprecated functionality
* Apply role specific expertise to support the applications development, maintenance and delivery to the Brunel roadmap and vision
* Build and maintain good relationships and open lines of communication with service users, ensuring changes and new requirements are captured in a timely manner
* Make preplanned, approved config changes to improve user experience
* Responsible for proposing, documenting and seeking approval for solutions to problems raised by users
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to quickly analyse and understand business requirements, document and translate into product specifications
* Technical knowledge and understanding of applications and underlying platforms
* Able to troubleshoot and support complex integrated systems
* Ability to analyse and prioritise conflicting demands and provide a collaborative approach to design and service delivery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with University staff at all levels.
* Ability to plan and organise their own work, negotiate and influence and be a subject matter expert in providing the support and understanding in the resolution of complex Infrastructure issues.
* Understanding of data governance and cyber security principles
