Description Permanent Contract | £27,711 to £30,060 per annum (Scale F) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills and experience in working with a broad range of stakeholders to join the Norfolk Pension Fund Technical Services Team as a Pensions Officer, to support and deliver technical solutions for Local Government Pension Scheme Members, Employers and the Norfolk Pension Fund teams. The Norfolk Pension Fund is responsible for all aspects of managing, administering and delivering the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in Norfolk. Part of Norfolk County Council, we deliver the LGPS to over 400 participating employers and around 100,000 scheme members and beneficiaries, managing assets of over £4billion. You’ll need skills to complete a broad range of tasks including dealing with enquiries from our stakeholders, updating and maintaining our pension records correctly, using IT solutions to solve complex problems, and ideally, experience in a customer facing administrative role. To be considered for the role, you’ll need good problem-solving, numeracy and literacy skills (including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent), and ideally, you’ll have some experience in a customer-facing administrative role. You’ll also need strong communication skills (written and face to face), good IT skills (including Word and Excel), and a positive approach to customer service. Whilst not essential, experience of working in the Local Government Pension Scheme environment would be ideal.
