We’re on the search for an experienced Parts Sales Executive to join our hard working and lively team. This role is offered on a full time Monday to Friday basis with a generous OTE and market leading rewards package. Reporting directly to our Parts Manager Paul McNulty, who has heaps of experience at Lookers, you will be learning from one of our most accomplished managers You will quickly become part of our Parts family with over 30 members of staff across the group who will support you in this fast-paced role. This isn’t your average travelling sales role, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic trailblazer to put their industry knowledge and passion for automotive parts to the test and successfully market and develop parts supplies to retail and trade customers and achieve sales goals. Maximising results and sales opportunities through advanced preparation and planning Being able to qualify customers needs through effective communication Developing customer relationships through prospecting and maintain these relationships with follow-up calls Retaining a full knowledge base of all of our stock, parts, accessories and pricing strategies Utilising product presentations in order to effectively demonstrate our parts / accessories to potential customers Implementing regular weekly / monthly sales calls to drive additional sales opportunities for new / repeat business You’ll be a real go-getter with heaps of industry knowledge and demonstrable sales experience. We need someone who has automotive product expertise as well as a good technical understanding of automotive maintenance. Previous experience working as a Parts Sales Representative for a dealership is preferred but not essential. You must be a natural communicator with an excellent telephone manner, and be adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders. You will be commercially astute, and a real results driven individual. This is a field based role, and you therefore must be able to demonstrate a confidence in using your own initiative and planning your own diary. You will be required to travel around a 50 mile radius from the Parts Hub, therefore full UK driving licence is essential.
